Hi there!
I’m a Health Coach who focuses on movement and how it impacts our health and wellness. I love to move, adventure, explore, and have fun. That requires me to keep my body healthy and happy, which has always been my motivation for learning more about physical and mental fitness. When we feel good, we’re far more likely to get out there and have fun doing the things we love — and for me, that’s what life is all about!
Early in my psychology career, I was introduced to Pilates and quickly fell in love with the mindful, functional movements of the method. Eventually, I decided to use my psychology training to help people thrive through movement. After completing my comprehensive Pilates training, I gained valuable experience teaching private lessons in a physical therapy clinic, co-founded a successful Pilates studio, and began training new teachers as an Educator for Balanced Body Education®. Continuing my education and training in corrective exercise, behavior change, and healthy living has provided me with even more tools to share with my clients. For more than 15 years, I’ve enjoyed training people of all ages and abilities — from athletes to pre/postnatal women to individuals recovering from injury and surgery — and I’m excited for the next 15 years!
Good movement is key to good health, and that’s at the heart of every session with me. I have a lot of fun helping my clients learn more about their bodies so they can move better and live better every day. I believe that how we train in the studio or gym should be all about supporting the fun and adventure we have out there in life. Whether it’s training for the next big hike or the next big house project, I love helping my clients get strong, prepared, and excited for the next adventure!
